You are rereading a WhatsApp conversation and something doesn't add up. Who always reaches out first? When did the replies get shorter? Is it your imagination, or has the tone actually changed?
Rereading hundreds of messages won't answer that: you remember the moments that stung and forget the rest. An analysis reads the whole conversation at once. Here is how to run one for free, what you will get, and what not to ask of it.
A good analysis answers two kinds of question.
Questions of numbers. Who writes more, and how much? Who starts the conversations? How long does each of you take to reply? When are you both around? These have exact answers, and a computer counts better than memory does.
Questions of meaning. Has the tone cooled? Do disagreements get resolved, or keep coming back? Is one person carrying most of the emotional effort? These need the language itself to be read, and that is where AI comes in.
The two work together. A slower reply time means little on its own. Alongside shorter messages and a flatter tone over the same weeks, it starts to tell a story.
WhatsApp can export any chat as a text file. On iPhone, tap the contact or group name, then Export Chat. On Android, open ⋮ → More → Export chat.

Can I analyse a group chat? Yes. Every participant in the group gets a pseudonym, and the statistics are calculated for each of them.
Does it work for conversations in other languages? Yes. The analysis and summary are written in your language, and WhatsApp exports from English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian phones are recognised as they are, on iPhone and Android.
