These terms govern your use of Le Confidant, operated by MNEMONICA SpA. Contact: info@leconfidant.ai. They cover conversation analysis, the assistant, browser tools and paid sessions. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data.

1. The service

We analyse uploaded WhatsApp conversations using communication metrics and AI. Before upload, you can replace participant names in your browser. This does not remove identifying details inside messages.

Free: initial analysis, with access for 1 hour.
Pro: full analysis and session questions, with access for 24 hours from confirmed purchase.
Advanced: Pro features and the Client Conversation Audit, with access for 3 days from confirmed purchase.

There are no accounts or subscriptions. Each purchase covers one session. Access expiry and deletion are separate processes, as explained in the Privacy Policy. The browser tools process chat files on your device.

2. Eligibility and upload authorization

You must be 18 or older. Do not upload any conversation involving a participant under 18.

You are responsible for the material you submit. You must have the rights and permissions necessary to upload it and authorize Le Confidant and its service providers to process it for the requested analysis. Participating in a conversation does not, by itself, establish every permission required for this processing.

Before uploading, give our Privacy Policy to each person whose personal information the material contains and obtain their informed written permission to share that information with Le Confidant and its service providers for the requested AI analysis. Provide any additional legally required notices and obtain any additional required permissions. This also applies to business and client conversations and confidential information. Do not upload sensitive personal information, such as health, sex-life or religious information, unless the affected person has explicitly authorized the processing and applicable law permits it. Remove information you are not authorized to share.

Your acceptance of these terms does not constitute another person's consent or remove our own data-protection obligations. Renaming participants is pseudonymisation, not complete anonymisation.

3. Permitted use and content rights

Do not submit unlawfully obtained content or use the service to spy on, harass, control or unlawfully profile another person. Do not use results to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance, healthcare or other rights or essential services. Do not interfere with security, evade access controls or rate limits, scrape the service, or resell access without authorization.

You retain your rights in your content and grant us only the permission needed to provide the requested service, including processing by our providers. As between you and us, you may use the resulting analysis, subject to applicable law and others' rights. Neither we nor our AI providers use uploaded conversations to train AI models.

We may remove prohibited content or suspend access to address misuse, legal requirements or risks to others. If we learn that an uploaded conversation involves a minor, we delete it.

4. AI limitations and the assistant

AI can misinterpret context and produce incorrect results. Results are not psychological, medical, legal, financial or employment advice. Review them critically and do not rely on them alone for important decisions. We are not an emergency or crisis service.

The homepage assistant answers product questions. If you attach a conversation there, only summary metrics calculated in your browser are sent, not the chat file's messages. Text you type to the assistant is sent and processed; avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive information. Assistant messages are scheduled for deletion after 7 days.

5. Payments, immediate access and refunds

Paid sessions are one-time purchases through PayPal. The price and payment currency are shown before purchase. Review the total before authorizing payment; your payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion charges. We do not receive your card details.

You may request immediate access at checkout. Starting or using a session does not remove our 14-day full-refund promise or any mandatory consumer rights.

For any reason, email info@leconfidant.ai within 14 days of purchase to request a full refund, including if the analysis failed or you have already used it. Provide the purchase date and PayPal reference or session reference; no explanation is required. We issue the refund through the original PayPal payment within 14 days of receiving the request. If a PayPal dispute is open, we process the refund through that dispute to avoid duplication.

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, you may exercise it by an unequivocal statement, including email. You may use this optional wording: “I withdraw from my Le Confidant purchase made on [date], payment reference [reference]. Name: [name]. Date: [date].” This refund policy does not limit longer periods or other remedies required by law.

6. Session expiry and deletion

You can request deletion from your session page or through our privacy contact. Expiry ends access; deletion from active systems, providers and any backups may occur at different times. See the Privacy Policy for retained records and deletion limitations. Once content has been deleted, we cannot restore your analysis. Keep your session link private: it can give access to the session.

7. Other services

PayPal processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy. If you connect your session to another AI assistant, that service's terms apply to the information you authorize it to access. Le Confidant is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.

The Le Confidant plugin in ChatGPT reads numeric results from an existing free analysis after you select and authorize that session in the browser used for upload. Only share results you have authority to share. The plugin cannot import conversations, start new analyses or provide raw messages, names, excerpts or paid insights; its demo and period comparison are fictional. Authorization ends with the original one-hour free session or earlier on revocation, deletion or upgrade. Disconnecting stops future reads; it does not delete the website session or results already shared in ChatGPT. Manage connections from ChatGPT or our connection-management page.

8. Availability and responsibility

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free results. If a paid session fails, the refund policy applies. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect losses and limit our liability for a session to the amount paid for it. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer rights.

9. Governing law and changes

Chilean law applies, without removing mandatory protections in your country of residence. Courts in Santiago, Chile have jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to bring proceedings in your country of residence. Contact us first if you need help resolving a problem.

We may update these terms and will announce material changes on the site. The version accepted for an existing session continues to apply to that session; updated terms apply to new sessions. Contact: info@leconfidant.ai.
